Atomic Haze

Atomik Haze are, most of the time, a five piece cast playing songs sung by female vocalists. This can include solo artists such as Janice Joplin or Pat Benatar, through to bands such as Blondie, Joan Jet, etc. The emphasis is only on the female vocalist. The level is mostly pop/middle rock. They are usually fronted by Sara Louise, also of Broke By Noon along with a co lead singer. CBR has only seen this band at the Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch, and there may be reasons for this, one might be that they have day jobs, and another is that CBR doesn't know everything.

It isn't really necessary to point out that the band are all women, although they are all women. It could be said however that they probably don't need to restrict their set to female vocalists. Five women on the stage playing guitars, banging drums and singing tunes is enough of an advert for the sisters that they don't need the added constraint this policy brings.

If it is the case that this band only play at the Cumberland, then at the risk of being presumptuous, they should look to expand their horizons. When it comes to playing guitars, banging drums and cranking out tunes, there are plenty of places this band could play at and be well received.
